Why I Do This Work

Hi, I’m Suellen! an ADHD coach, workplace strategist, and passionate advocate for those who feel like they’re constantly falling through the cracks.

My journey into this work wasn’t planned. it was personal. As the wife and mother of four amazing ADHD minds (three sons and a husband), I’ve lived through the chaos, confusion, and judgment that often comes when people don’t understand ADHD.

From early school suspensions to system failures, I spent years navigating diagnosis, support, and misunderstanding while juggling work, family, and my own identity. Those lived experiences sparked something bigger in me.

From Frustration to Purpose

In 2017, when my sons became entangled in the justice system, I was thrust into a role I never expected: supporting young people aged 17 to 24 to prevent them from reoffending. Over five years, I saw a troubling pattern—these weren’t “bad kids.” They were overlooked, undiagnosed, misunderstood.

I recognised the same traits I’d navigated in my own family field—ADHD—playing out again.

That was the moment it clicked: my purpose shifted. It wasn’t just about my sons & husband anymore—it was about giving anyone affected by ADHD the opportunity to be truly understood.

Qualifications & Credibility

Since that turning point, I’ve committed myself to deepening my understanding of ADHD and how to support people through it. I completed specialised ADHD coach training with Coach Approach Training Institute and became a Professional Certified Neurodiversity Coach (PCNC). I also earned an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and am an Accredited Mental Health First Aider.

Beyond training, I bring decades of lived experience—as a parent navigating ADHD, as a coach, and as a guide for others. I draw on the latest neuroscience, executive function research, and coaching best practice to help adults—and those who support them—transform everyday frustration into clarity, resilience, and confidence.
